Avarekaalu Usli (Broad Bean In Gravy) Recipe by Archana’s Kitchen


Avarekaalu or Broad beans are available in Karnataka during the winter season. This bean is soft, mushy and has a distinct aroma. My mom used to prepare a number of dishes using this bean. Avarekaal rotti and avarekaal usli have been my long time favourites since then. Avarekaalu Usli is a simple gravy recipe made with Broad beans and spices.

Serve Avarekaalu Usli with Roti or Whole Wheat Lachha Paratha for your weekday lunch or dinner.
